Kim Balk
Kim has 23 years experience in the legal industry. She was employed at the Belin Law Firm for the last nine years as their I.T. Director. Prior to that she was employed at the Ahlers Law Firm for ten years as their M.I.S. Director.

Kim has trained over 300 attorneys and staff members on a variety of legal and computer software packages.

She was published twice in Law Office Computing regarding the use of technology and her feedback in litigation uses in the court room at a previous law firm.

Kim helped the Iowa State Bar Association with the implementation of IowaDocs® program. She was involved in helping implement a system that made it possible for her employer to be one of the first law firms to use electronic filing for the Southern District of Iowa.

She was a committee member for the International Legal Technology Association as a volunteer representative for the State of Iowa.

Kim's goal through Legal Technology Services, Inc. is to provide law firms assistance with their technology needs. With her many years of experience, she will be able to make this constantly changing field much easier for your law firm.
